The following is a bug report involving Sever Suit and missing equipment on suit change. This is a reoccurring issue and seems to have gotten worse with recent updates. There have been similar reports but this post will provide more details information on what I have observed.
I can give you a pretty good idea on how to reproduce but it does not happen 100% of the time but it has been happening a lot (maybe 80%) Since I only run logi and logi suits, I can only confirm that it effects Logi suits but it most likely effects anyone that has more than 1 equipment slot.
What I run:
- All fittings that I have run are the Sever Logi (AUR Suit) which has 3 equipment slots
- Build 1: The equipment is placed (from left to right) [Militia Nanohive] [Militia Nano Injector] [Militia Repair Tool]
- Build 2: The equipment is placed (from left to right) [Gauged Uplinks] [Militia Nano Injector] [Militia Repair Tool]
I have additional builds but these are the most common and since I run build 1 the most, I am constantly running across this bug.
Example of when the bug occurs most often:
- I am running Build 2, laying down some uplinks and wish to switch to my build with Nanohives
- I go to a Supply Depot and select Build 1
- Two results are going to occur
- One, my suits loads just fine
- Two, my suit loads with one equipment item, [Militia Repair Tool] [Empty Slot] [Empty Slot]
- The loaded item is always the Repair Tool but I intend to switch the slots around and see what the results will be
A thing to note is that the Repair tool is actually in an odd slot of being on the far left where there is usually no equipment slot available. This bug has also occurred when switching from Build 1 to Build 1 aka restock the Nanohives.
After the bug occurs, all my Sever build fittings are all bugged out, switching to any of the same suits results in the same results. The only way to fix it is to change to a suit that does not use Sever, aka a start build for me.
To me this sounds like something that effect the Sever Suit but it may effect anything with 2 or 3 equipment slots. I will continue to test this out and try to report the results back in this thread.
